Little One

This is a card I made for my husband's co-worker who just had a little girl on Sunday. I have seen many people make a frame with the Nestabilities dies and wanted to give it a try. To create a shadow box effect, I raised the pink frame with some foam tape. I also used a button from my new Mini Bag O Buttons that I picked up at Archiver's last week. After completing the main image, I thought the card base needed a little something extra so I pulled out my Stampin' Up Scallop Edge Punch and added a border to the edge. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Paper Bliss (sticker), Spellbinders (Nestabilities Dies - Labels 1), Papertrey Ink (stamp from Mixed Messages set), Provo Craft (tag die from Tiny Tags set), Stampin' Up (edge punch), May Arts (ribbon), Autumn Leaves (button).

Birthday Girl

This was a card I made for my cousin's daughter's first birthday coming up next week. I used this week's sketch at the Taylored Expressions blog for the design. I have had this cupcake die cut for a long time and finally found the right card to use it on. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock and ribbon), Doodlebug Designs Inc. (patterned paper), Cross My Heart (die cut), Papertrey Ink (stamps), Tsukineko (Memento Ink), Stampin' Up (slot punch), Spellbinders (Nestabilities dies).

Always

This is my last Valentine's project to share. I made this card for my husband. It is a pretty simple design, but I think the color combo is a classic. It may be hard to tell from the picture, but I used a foam square under every other heart to give the card a little dimension. While digging out all my valentine/love supplies, I found these Making Memories tags. I love it when I can use something from my stash. Thank you for looking!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Making Memories (tag and brad), Fiskars (border punch), Martha Stewart Crafts (heart punch).

Cookie Pops with Tag

This gift I made for my daughter's daycare teachers doesn't have much "papercrafting" involved, but I thought I would share them quick. The cookie pops were made with this recipe. With a different "color scheme" they make a cute Valentine's gift. I packaged them with a treat bag tied with Bazzill Basics ribbon. The tag was made with cardtock, Doodle Kid font and my Martha Stewart Mini-Hearts edge punch. Thanks for looking.

Valentines with Lola Love

I found the cutest stamp set at Archiver's to use for my daughter's valentines - Lola Love from Our Craft Lounge. I loved that I could stamp her legs and body separately, you can make so many different looks that way. Plus, the images came out really nice. I will definately be getting more of their sets!

Now onto the specifics. I used my Bic Mark-Its and my two Copics to color in Lola. I wish I would've had different yellows and reds for better shading, but I think they turned out ok. I used my Scor-Pal to make the "boxes" for the bags of Mini M&Ms. I punched a hole through the candy bag and the box and tied the treat in place with the red ribbon. I used some red Stickles on the hearts for a little sparkle and tied a simple tag on the top with the recipient's name. I had fun making these, but was glad my daughter only needed 10 for her classmates. Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Our Craft Lounge (stamps), Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), BIC Mark-Its (markers), Copic (markers), Ranger Ink (Stickles), May Arts (ribbon), Scor-Pal, Crop-a-dile.

A simple birthday card I made a while ago but never posted. I love this Making Memories paper, a nice pattern that isn't too overpowering. Thanks for looking!

Delicious!

This is a birthday card I made for the Hero Arts Flickr challenge from last week, BIRTHDAY WEEK. I tried embossing with my Cuttlebug Embossing folder Swiss Dots on the Grafix transparency and thought it turned out cute. I tried my hand at coloring with my BIC Mark-It's and a new Copic marker I purchased. I was pleased with how my cupcake and cherry turned out. Also used my new Nestability dies as well - ovals, scalloped ovals and ribbon tag. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. Thanks for looking.

Supplies: Hero Arts (stamps), Tsukineko (ink), BIC Mark-it (markers), Copic (markers), Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Grafix (transparency), Nestabilities (dies), Provo Craft (embossing folder), May Arts (ribbon).

Love

I made this card for a sketch contest/challenge on the Papertrey Ink blog from Saturday, but didn't get the card posted in time. Thought I would still share it on here though. I finally had a chance to use my Martha Stewart Mini-Hearts edge punch and I think it is so cute! Thanks for looking.
