With Sympathy

I needed another sympathy card, this one for a friend from high school who lost her Grandmother last week. This was a sketch I added to my "sketch book" from a Pagemaps sketch page I had from a while ago. I used the same Making Memories Tara paper pack from my birthday card I posted over the weekend. I didn't know if the ribbon was the exact right shade but I thought it worked okay. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Making Memories (patterned paper), Papertrey Ink (clear stamp from Mixed Messages set), Stampin' Up (scalloped border punch), Unknown (cardstock, ribbon)

Grandmother

I needed a card for my Grandmother's 85th birthday next Saturday so I looked arount to find a sketch I could use. I found this sketch on Taylored Expressions and really liked it right away. I pulled out a Making Memories Tara paper pack I had bought a while ago and thought the colors worked well for an Autumn birthday card. I also used my Women of Life stamp set from Papertrey Ink for the sentiment. It doesn't show up as well as I would like but I liked the look of the patterned paper so I left it. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Bazill Basics Paper (cardstock), Making Memories (patterned paper), Papertrey Ink (clear stamps), Tsukineko (Memento Ink Pad), Unknown (ribbon).

Make a Wish

I wanted to give the Mojo Monday sketch a try this week because I really liked it. I neeeded a birthday card for my niece and I thought it would be the right look for the ideas that I had. I used a cupcake cut with my Cricut from the Doodlebug Charms cartridge for the focal point. The sentiment was from Deja Views and the rest of it came together! I think the colors are cute for a two year old too. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Making Memories (patterned paper), Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Provo Craft (Cricut Doodlebug Charms cartridge), Deja Views (rubon), Doodlebug Designs Inc (jewels), Stampin Up (scallop edge punch), Provo Craft (Coluzzle template), EK Success (circle punches), Papertrey Ink (star stamps on cupcake), Versamark (ink), Unknown (embossing powder, transparency).

Delicious Autumn

Here is another fall card I made over the weekend. After coloring the apple with my BIC Mark-It marker, I realized I needed to get some other shades of red to go with this one! I had to really work to get any semblance of blending on this apple. I used some cardstock leftover from my Harvest Hellos card because I thought it would look good with the red. You have to love double-sided paper to give you two looks that are the same color. Thanks for visiting.

Supplies: Bo Bunny (patterned cardstock), The Angel Company (stamps from Delicious Autumn set), BIC (Mark-It markers), Copic (markers), Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black ink), Unknown (ribbon).

Happy Birthday

This card was my first attempt at a "tent topper" card by Michelle Wooderson. I still love the concept, but unfortunately it didn't turn out quite as I had imagined. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on the balloon for some texture. Thanks for visiting.

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Provo Craft (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and Tiny Tags die set), Stampendous (Happy Birthday stamp), Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black ink), DMC (embroidery floss).

It's a Boy

I needed a baby card for our dear friends who were blessed with their second son in August. I liked the way the little cat turned out on my "baby girl card" so I used the bear from the same Angel Company set for the boy card. I colored the bear with my Bic Mark-It's and Copics. Thanks for visiting!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Prism (white cardstock), Doodlebug Designs Inc. (patterned paper), The Angel Company (stamp), Making Memories (rub-on), Copic (markers), Bic (markers), Stampin Up (scallop border punch).

Harvest Hellos

Here is a card I created for the Raspberry Suite Color Challenge at Dawn McVey's blog. I love this stamp set that is from The Angel Company. I think the subtle background from Bo Bunny Double Dot collection. works well with the design. Thank you for visiting!

Supplies: Bo Bunny (patterned cardstock), Prism (cardstock), The Angel Company (stamps from Delicious Autmn set), Ranger Ink (Adirondack Espresso ink pad), Unknown (ribbon).

Happy Birthday

I made this card for my dear friend's daughter who is turning 6 today. We are heading out to her party soon. I wanted a large cupcake for the front so I had a reason to pull out my Cricut, which was probably dusty as it hasn't been used in quite a while! I should've done something more with the "frosting" as I think it looks a bit plain now. I did use a Stardust pen for a little sparkle though. I have some more cards that need to be made so hopefully I can get a few done this weekend and posted next week. Thank you for visiting!

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Marvy Uchida (scalloped circle punch), Provo Craft (Cricut Doodlebug Charms for cupcake, George and Basic Shapes for circle), Bazzill Basics Paper (ribbon), Hero Arts (Happy Birthday sentiment stamp), Sakura (Stardust pen), Copic (Sketch marker).
