With Sympathy

These cards are never easy to make as you know they are not something the recipient wants to receive. I had some patterned paper that I thought would be nice as a background and just added some rub-ons and paper piercing on the corners of the sentiment square to finish it. Thanks for looking.

Supplies: My Mind's Eye (Penny Lane patterned paper), Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), American Crafts (rub-ons).

It's a Girl

Finally a new post! I have had a bit of a hiatus from papercrafting but am trying to get back into it now. This is a card I made for a cousin of ours who had her first baby a few weeks ago. I used sketch #80 from Taylored Expressions for the design and that really helped me make this card quickly. I went a little out of my comfort zone with patterned paper, but I like how it turned out. The image is from a special edition stamp set from The Angel Company that I colored with my Copics and Bic Mark-Its. Thank you for taking a look!

Supplies: EK Success (Phrase Cafe patterned paper), Bazzill Basics Paper (cardstock), Provo Craft (Circle Coluzzle template), The Angel Company (stamp), Copic and BIC (markers), American Crafts (rub-on), May Arts (ribbon), 3M (foam squares).
